毛布はカバーのないのが一枚きりなので、使う気にならず。トイレにペーパーなし。タオルは古くて変色。蚊がブンブンなのに一番閉口した。シュラフカバーをかぶって寝た。

Location - excellent Front desk staff - v helpful and pleasant Breakfast (did not expect )- good . No coffee maker but will be delivered in a few mins after a call to reception. Clean,large room and bath room . AC had good cooling . No running hot water but water heater heats in a few mins .Unlike a hotel , No routine room cleaning is done. Good value for money

Shabby sheikh gem!

If you like shabby sheikh, which I do, then you will, too. The furniture in the room harked from the 1950-60’s in style and they had definitely seen some wear; but everything worked well and it appeared clean, although the fitted bottom sheet was stained and grayish in color. The bed was quite firm, but comfortable. There was no top sheet, but a nice soft blanket for a covering. I liked the old-fashioned dressing table and stool and used it for storing my jewelry. There was no light nearby, however, so I couldn’t use it for make-up. There was a tall stand for hanging short clothes and drawers for unpacking if you are staying more than a night. There was a reading chair and a traditional ‘50’s low oval coffee table which similar to the one we had when I was a child, which made it very comfortable. No desk for working. The bathroom was clean with a bucket and pitcher for bathing, as well as a shower head. It is a wet bath and was up two steps from the bedroom itself. The porcelain sink was set in a very small marble counter, but there was a long, narrow shelf for storing one’s toiletries. I couldn’t find the switch for turning on the hot water tank my first night. However, the next morning when I was fresh I found it on the bedroom wall shared with with bathroom sink. It would have been good to have the porter point this out to me when I was initially shown to my room. One just needs to allow for 15-20 minutes for the water to heat and you have plenty.

1. The rooms are not as clean and neat as they show in pictures. 2. Toilets are not good. 3. They are pricing too high for the quality they provide.

駅からも遠く旅行者向けの場所ではないが部屋はきれいで親切快適

空港からプリペイドタクシーで５００ルピーだったが、住所見せてもドライバーは分らず見つけるのに一苦労。 滞在中使ったオートリクシャーの誰もがこのホテル名前を知らなかった。「Gowdia Mutt Road　×　Avvai Shanmugam Road」の交差点と言うか「INDIAN BANK」のヘッドクォーターと言ったほうがいいです。 交差点からはすぐ、インド銀行の向かいです。 室内でｗｉｆｉ使えました。朝食はイドリーの弁当を用意して部屋に届けてくれるので屋上に上がって食べると景色もよく気持ちいです。屋上で手洗い洗濯、物干しあり。 従業員もフレンドリーで室内も清潔。近くにチャイ屋や安食堂くらいはありますが場所柄、旅行者は皆無です(^_^) エグモア駅まではオートリクシャーで１５分くらいかかります。（ホテルやレストラン、両替屋はエグモア駅前に集まっています。）宿としては悪くないですが次は便利なエグモア駅前に泊まるな～。

Good hotel close to US Consulate

I picked this hotel for my parents who were attending their US visa interview at Chennai. This hotel is very close to US Consulate and very easy to locate. The staff was very responsive right from the beginning, and responded my questions in a timely manner. My parents had a nice stay and they gave positive feedback about the hotel staff.

Decent hotel for the price

Its strictly what you get for the price. The room (I chose the biggest available on travelocity) is large and spacious, kept neat, the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff are courteous, polite and very accommodating. Checked in at 3pm and checked out 3pm the next day. The wi-fi wasnt working throughout our stay, the door handle to our bathroom was broken from the inside, no toilet paper in the restroom (you could ask for it though), downstairs coffee machine was broken and the odd mosquito here and there which seems to be the general problem with Chennai (they do have a mosquito repellent plugged into the outlets). The US consulate in a 15 minute walk(about 1.5km).

Really not good. Surprised to see cockroach on the bed. Complimentary breakfast was served as packed food. Only one device per person can be connected to wi-fi.

値段の割にとても良い

立地も便利だし、部屋も広々清潔、蚊もいません。お湯もちゃんと出ました。ホテルのスタッフの対応も親切で良かったし、朝食は南インドスタイルのお弁当(美味しかったです)を部屋まで持ってきてくれました。 またチェンナイに戻る予定なのでまた泊まるかもしれないです。

Friendly staff's and good place to retire at night

We stayed there for 11 nights. Mainly we go out in the day and only come back at night to sleep. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff's were friendly and helped us on any queries. Easy to get auto transportation.

Nice and Comfortable Stay!

We stayed for a night at Llyods guest house. This is a very good hotel if you are planning for 2 nights. The location makes it very easy to traverse across all major points of the city. Dont miss the breakfast!
