Hotel berdekatan Chattooga River

"What a gem this hotel was. It was a bit of a lucky find but glad we found it. Rooms were modern but had a rustic vibe. Room was also very spacious with a lot of room to move about. Very nice porch as well with a lovely babbling brook right outside the door. The only drawback was the 2 skylights that let in dawns light at 6am every morning, hence the 3 stars on comfort. We got used to it but it would be nice to have something set up to shade the light. We also liked easy access to extra towels...

"Our room was clean and nicely outfitted with a refrigerator and coffee maker. Julie and Holly were so hospitable -- Holly made eggs and bacon for breakfast each morning and Julie brought banana bread. What a personal touch! The grounds were clean and accommodating for our (much traveled) labradoodle. Having bottled water and a stocked coffee station was a plus! The convenience to Highland and Cashiers was a bonus. "First Patty at check in was beyond sweet and she was so welcoming. Really wonderful employee. There were small things that were lacking like no hand soap and the shower gel was almost empty so really no soap to speak of. Also they have this cute card talking about making yourself an afternoon cup of trees but no tea. And then we returned around 8:45 and ran out to go to our car to grab surfing and left our key in the room. I called the emergency number passed at reception since no one was left...
