"The room was fantastic and the staff very accommodating. The linens, bed and toiletries were amazing. Only drawback was roof repair on portion of chateau so arrival photo isn’t great. It did not impact our visit at all."

"Loved La Petitie Vigne. A beautiful, classically and lovingly set up Bed and Breakfast in central Amboise within walking distance of everything. Very nice breakfast served to us in a lovely dining room by a friendly employee. Unfortunately, the owner and usual hostess was not home-we were met by her son who gave us our key and introduced us to our room and the property. We never saw the rumored cats and they did not bother us. We would love to stay again!"

"This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. "Hotel looked pretty new and clean. You beed a car to access the town but is just 5 mins driving. Staff was AMAZING, a shout out to the guy that was at night and got a fan for us because in most hotels in France air conditioning dies not work until it’s officially summer. Breakfast was very good!"

"It's a beautiful chateau that dates back to the 16th century (at least). At one point owned and designed by one of Haussman's architects, the brick and stone facade is classic. You could get lost in the gardens (that's a good thing!) and they are thoughtfully landscaped and beautiful.
