"The Villa itself was spacious and decent. All the basic amenities and the green space out front was nice. However, there was a lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom, which is odd given the fact many people come to Okinawa for the beach. The location was in a nice residential neighbourhood, but felt like no man’s land in terms of eateries etc. If you’re vegetarian, like me, good luck. The area is dominated by resorts and caters to meat eaters. The pool area is a bit tired and it’s about a 3...

"The location was ok and close to Junglia amusement park, although there are two western old men walking and blocking a roadway, behaving like unwelcoming tourists.
There are many local restaurants, beaches, convenience stores. "

"We booked this hotel before it was open, all of the images were AI generated, so we had nothing to really go off. The images definitely made our room look a lot bigger than what it is in reality, so I did feel slightly misled in that regard. During my stay I had intense allergies like never experienced before, all due to the crazy amount of dust present in the room, and whilst an air purifier is provided, I still had to sleep with a mask on to prevent allergies as much as possible. It was so bad that the pyjamas they provide daily were also a dusty disaster. Another reason for booking this accommodation was the fact that there was parking on site, however there was no clear instruction on how to access this or the process for hotel guests, so I got yelled at by the parking staff amidst the confusion. At the time of booking the cost for parking was not advertised, so that was a bit of a shock also. The pool is also in a weird area, just outside of where the concierge is located, so it was too awkward to use this facility knowing you’d have to walk past many staff members and guests checking in and out of the hotel, whilst in your togs. Now it wasn’t all bad, the hotel is new, the concierge and cleaning staff were very respectful and friendly, and the location is great for those wanting to stay close to Kokusai dori, as it’s a 5 min walk, however this isn’t enough to make me want to stay there again."
"Very friendly staff with great location near the beach and American Village (10 min walk). This was a great stay with free bike rental, free light breakfast, and free laundry facility. Highly recommend."
"Incredible property, staff, location and experience.
The bath house / sauna was exceptional.
The workout gym area was essentially non-existent. That is the only downfall."
"We stayed at Halekulani Okinawa for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, impeccably maintained, and truly lives up to its five-star reputation.
One thing to note is that the spa was fully booked during our stay. Access to the natural hot springs is through the spa, so if you plan to use those facilities, I strongly recommend making reservations well in advance.
The resort offers four on-site restaurants, which provided excellent dining variety throughout our stay. The only drawback was that while most restaurants were able to accommodate a gluten sensitivity, the Japanese restaurant was unable to do so.
We visited in early June, and unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative. Based on our experience, I would suggest visiting later in June for a better chance of enjoying the outdoor amenities.
Overall, the property was outstanding, the service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A true five-star resort that we would happily recommend."
"This is a beautiful hotel with really big spacious rooms. It’s really well located for American village and dining options. The staff are so great and really friendly and helpful."
