"I had an excellent time at Long Cove. The cabin I stayed in was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The view of the lake from my porch was spectacular. It felt like being away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it was only a short drive to shopping and food. I would recommend this place every time!"

"The room we got was the single king bed standard and it was extremely over priced for what you got. What u get in there is a fridge, desk, tv, a side chair, and in the bathroom they provide you with hand, body, shampoo, and conditioners as soaps to use. They also give a tiny lotion and 2 makeup wipes. However the soap was bad quality, with mold going around where the containers are held which was a shock because its not the only area where we found mold. Some around the mini fridge, and especially on the ac. But lets talk about the ac unit, its massive takes up a whole corner in the room, theres mold all over it, it doesnt work well at all stayed for 2 nights tried setting it cooler and in total it dropped 1 degree. The ac unit itself is awfully loud leaving a horrible humming noise the second you walk through the door. We found ourselves turning the tv up way high just to try and drown it out and sleep. Now all this being said the staff working there was extremely extremely nice. All seemed very caring/invested in making you stay a better experience. However we paid about 40 dollars less than the hilton that was downtown which looked considerably nicer. We sisnt think it would be an issue because the reviews on the loso seemed better but dont let them lie to you. This hotel was the worst ive stayed at and much more expensive than what it should be. Maybe 50 a night makes more sense, we paid 125 a night for this quality in a hotel that seemed almost empty. Hope this helps!!!!"
"Breakfast buffet was great. Food at Bar was actually surprisingly good - well beyond what I had expected for bar food. The service, while everyone was kind, felt rushed and like they were short-staffed or hadn’t anticipated the influx of guests. I felt the amenities in the bathroom to be lacking - no lotion, nothing beyond soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Overall, enjoyed our stay though and would look at revisiting next time we’re in town. "
"Tv reception was horrible worst I’ve ever seen. The lighting in the bedroom was like being in a cave. The smoke detector blinked all night long.
Laying in bed and looking up at an unfinished ceiling reminded me of being in the fifth grade and throwing spit balls to see if they stuck. I don’t think I would stay here again for the price I paid.
concrete ceiling was just horrible reminded me of being a kid in the fifth grade and throwing spit balls at the ceiling and having them stick. For the money I spent "
