"The staff just make this hotel; they are amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept as is the swimming pool area. Housekeeping staff could not do enough for us; I needed hypoallergenic pillows which arrived within minutes. "The property was ideally located for exploring the island. The sea view rooms gave amazing views across the bay, albeit across one of the main roads to the east of the island. Each room has a fan. There is no air conditioning. The rooms face the afternoon sun so do get warm but can be ventilated as the window slides open. "Nice entrance foyer and bedrooms were clean and spacious. Dark furniture in the room gave it a dated look but no real gripes. We had French doors leading out onto a veranda which was nice and the shower and bathroom were immaculate. Easy walking distance to Liberation Square and the harbours. Breakfast was nice with ample choice. "

"Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Staff were all excellent and extremely helpful, rooms very comfortable and well furnished, we also had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast and Bistro/Bar food very nice. Only negative was the shower which had very poor pressure, and the bathroom itself didn't meet the quality of the rest of the hotel, but I would imagine they are due a makeover as every other area has had. But didn't change our overall positive view and would definitely stay again if visiting...

"All the staff were fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The service was great too. The hotel is in a gorgeous quiet spot surrounded by trees with beautiful gardens. It's conveniently located for St. Peter Port, either to walk the cliff path or use local buses. "A lovely hotel in a super location. Glorious views across the bay from the main lounge & dining room. Lots of dining options in the town, all within walking distance. Staff were excellent & nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Food was excellent & beautifully presented. Would love to return & definitely recommend 😊"
