We had a total of 30 guests from 9 different countries all over the world, so to make it special, we created a week of wedding festivities rather than only one day! We had an activity day with all of the guests where we chartered a private bus to show us some of the great attractions and hidden gems of Chania. One of our stops was at Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed! We had some traditional Greek mezethes (tapas or appetizers), which consisted of lots of #seafood ! I don't know about you, but I could stare at this plate all day long. We only needed one night close to the airport for our family, but we want to come back for a real vacation!! The property is lovely and peaceful. The staff was fantastic and took such good care of us. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Another great stay an Aloni! Rental car necessary if you want to travel about otherwise great place to chill by the pool. Kalathas beach 5 mins drive is best for miles around. All staff so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of area. Only 15 mins from airport but didn't notice the planes. 25 mins drive from Chania town - parking hard in the evening but until 4pm ok. Amazing sunset from apartments and pool area every evening over the peninsula to the west.

The Receptionist katarina was very welcoming with a smile and tried to help as much as she can. But the place inside the room needs updating and the amenities were not there the outside where the pool area was very nice and spacious and clean

Great property with amazing sunset view over the sea and distant peninsula mountains. Car necessary although lovely and busy taverna perhaps 15 mins walk. Everywhere clean and strong WiFi in apartment and by pool. Vasia and others working in cafe super friendly and helpful with my many questions! Nearest beach 5 mins drive, Kalathas, small but lovely sand and turquoise sea colour - kayaks and SUP available. Only 15 mins from airport but noise not an issue.

Nice property with 2 swimming pool, bar, car park

Nice property with 2 good swimming pools equipped with plenty of sun beds, barbecue, car park, bar next to the swimming pool. The rooms are spacious as well as the living room where you can find a Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchenware, fridge, microwave, toaster, oven and kettle. Balcony with a view. It's located close to supermarket, different restaurant options and a lovely beach (Golden beach =famous Zorba' s beach) which is just 5 minutes by car. The communication with the hotel staff was very good and they promptly helped us when we needed something. Thanks for the nice stay!

These apartments were such a lovely surprise! The pool area was clean fresh with plenty of beds. The snack bar provided everything you need all day long with a friendly service. Apartments were cleaned most days, again everything we need. Large, airy, spacious. A shop 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants within walking distance. Irene's tavern is the best meal we've ever had, with great service. At least one of the restaurants have Greek music on each night. All in all, we could not have asked for more for our family holiday. Amazing !!!

No towels when we arrived. After a bit we called and were told they would bring them in 20 minutes. No hot water in the morning. Could not find a fuse box to turn on the breaker and there were no instructions in the apartment.

-3 split dell’aria condizionata vecchi che non funzionavano, quello in camera matrimoniale aveva un pezzo di carta nel deflettore e l’unità esterna arrugginita continuava ad emettere un rumore assordante. Sono andato dalla signora alla reception a fare presente della situazione che diffidentemente è venuta a vedere ed ha constatato che avevo ragione e parlando con la proprietaria a telefono mi ha fatto presente che il giorno dopo (perchè era domenica) sarebbe venuto il tecnico a risolvere il problema e quando sarei tornato avrei trovato tutto funzionante ma così non è stato e quando ho rifatto presente del problema mi ha trovato l’ennesima scusa dandomi un ventilatore, due notti l’abbiamo passate con il caldo e con le finestre aperte dove sono entrate zanzare, altri clienti hanno vissuto la stessa esperienza visto i vari segni di insetti schiacciati sulle pareti e sul soffitto. -l’anta della cappa è caduta all’improvviso è probabile che era rotta e attaccata con lo sputo, pericoloso per una famiglia con bambini. -connessione internet non si collegava. -divano della sala sporco e sedendomi mi è camminato sopra una cimice. -bagno piccolo e nella vasca il doccino che si doveva agganciare a parete corto e rimaneva sulla parte inclinata della vasca e non riuscivi a lavarti e si allagava tutto in terra. Nel wc non si poteva gettare la carta igienica dopo aver fatto i propri bisogni ma buttarla nel cestino accanto, stiamo scherzando? Peccato che non si possono pubblicare foto.

Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf! De mensen deden alsof je familie was en kon alles aan ze vragen. Best een auto huren, want in het gebied ligt niet erg veel. Leuke stranden in de buurt. Enige minpunt was de douche, de hele badkamer was nat na gebruik en door de gordijn aan de slaapkamer zag je alles door, waardoor als het ligt aan was iedereen perfect binnen kon kijken. Voor de rest een top aanrader! Zalig zwembad, zalige mensen en zalig verblijf! Ook elke dag kwamen ze vuilbakken verversen, lakens juist leggen, nieuwe handdoeken wanneer nodig en afwas doen als er nog afwas stond! Aanrader !!!

Kiva, pieni huoneistohotelli. Mukava uima-allas, alueella tuolit ja varjot, allasbaari +pöydät ja tuolit varjossa. Huoneisto erittäin tilava, yksinkertainen, mutta siisti. Plussana toisessa makuuhuoneessa oma wc, ilmainen hyvä wifi. Keittiön varustelu ok. Sängyt olivat kovat. Vastaanotto ei ollut auki, ystävällinen työntekijä allasbaarissa. Sisäuima-allas ei käytössä (ei kai pitkään aikaan), kuntosali käyttökelvoton ja epäsiisti. Biljardihuone erittäin tunkkainen ja likainen. Lisämaksusta tarjolla pyykinpesumahdollisuus. Näistä huolimatta hyvä hinta-laatusuhde ja voisin varata uudelleen, jos lisäpalvelut eivät ole ykkösenä. Oma auto pakollinen. Erikoisena huomiona, että asunnon ulko-oven pinta kuumeni auringossa niin paljon, että siihen ei kädellä kannattanut koskettaa.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here, it was only for one night as we had a 4 AM flight but wished that we could do longer. The pictures don’t do justice on the size of the place, we were expecting one room with two twin beds and received an absolute palace. The staff working at the hotel couldn’t have been better, they arranged are taxi, suggested a ton of the local food, and even gave us some fresh apricots off their tree. The only thing that I would change is our length of stay, and also a rental car as it is quite a far walking distance to the nearest beach.

Geweldig verblijf. Prachtig uitzicht. Mooi zwembad. Lekker eten en drinken te krijgen bij de gastvrij eigenaren.Zeer ruime kamers. Goed schoon gemaakt. Toplocatie. Als je houdt van drukte, boulevards, etc. Dan moet je hier niet heen gaan. Om kreta te ontdekken is het wel aan te raden om zeker bij deze lokatie een auto te huren

Perfect pool based break near Stavropol Beach

Awesome time at a perfect pool based self catering apartment. My family loved this place, the pool was big, warm and clean: perfect! The food was very good value and the apartment was spacious with excellent air conditioning. To top it all off, when we couldn’t get a taxi to take us to the airport, the lady who runs the place got her husband to take us in his own car! True Greek hospitality and he would not accept anything for it! So so kind. I would recommend Aloni Suites to you 100%
