I was fortunate to get a room upgrade which I’m grateful for and got to be in the over water bungalows. The food was delicious, especially the lobster!! The staff, location… I reiterate, everything! "Great place in fantastic location right in front of the beach. Room was clean and comfortable and the shower was also really nice. It had A/C, but we hardly used it as it was not that hot when we went. Loved the restaurant and bar in the hotel, makes it really convenient. The beach was also clean and the water was nice and warm. Great spot to stay."

"The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way). The rooms were immaculate, the location outstanding, and they paid attention to every single detail to make sure that we slept well and were comfortable each and every day and night. "There was lots of room inside, not terribly comfortable but comfortable enough. It was nice outside, but I stayed out too long and got eaten by the sand fleas. It was actually a pretty nice location. There was a little trouble communicating, but the staff was very nice and helpful."

"A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc."

"Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. For.the price difference treat yourself to an ocean view cabin, they are fantastic."
