"First time staying here but it was great and we would return. Was only a one stay in transit. We were a bit unclear on actually what is involved getting off plane then getting to Crowne Plaza. But you simply go down in the arrival hall, scan code for arrivals fill out this out on your phone (name passport details how long you staying in Singapore) then walk thru immigration using the egate. Then out main door turn left and keep walking - follow the signs Room was lovely and spacious. Comfortable bed and beautiful pillows. Everything you need or want for a quick transit visit or a longer stay. Definitely recommend to others"

"Need 3 things to check in: 1. Passport 2. Boarding pass of flight you’re getting off of 3. Boarding pass of flight you’re getting onto. The 12 hours begin when you check in, not at a set time like 6 am to 6 pm. It was very helpful that both legs of the journey were with the same airline so they could check our luggage thru from original airport to destination so we did not have to claim in Singapore where the transfer hotel was in."

"My biggest concern when planning my trip to the Singapore was the hotel location. Fortunately, I won the jackpot when I booked my stay at the Carlton Hotel Singapore. As soon as I entered, the lobby was bright and inviting. The staff was friendly and gladly offered to hold our luggage since we arrived before 10AM. She offered to let use the showers by the pool to freshen up which was very helpful to get our day started. Once we checked in, we were surprised at the size of the room with the king size bed. There was no squeezing or reshuffling our luggage as there was ample space to move around comfortably. From what I researched, Singapore hotel rooms were small just like other Asian hotels but our room reminded me of hotels back in the US. Another surprise was how quiet the property felt. I never heard anyone in the hallways or doors closing. The best part of the hotel was the location to the local buses and MRT stations. We utilized all public transportation and the shopping mall diagonal to the hotel where we shopped for souvenirs and quick snacks. We had a minor cleaning issue in our room which I reported to the management. Within 15 minutes, the issue was quickly resolved with the manager on duty who apologized several times with a generous accommodation. Classy. Overall, if you prefer a hotel in the heart of Singapore but without all the busy attractions and noise this hotel is the perfect stay."
