"They were waiting for me that evening, but I arrived in the night, as I told them. Everything was ready for me, I had received the code to go in. And the breakfast was just ready in the room, for the morning after. Thank you. Only one thing: why did't see I just had payed before I came, on Hotels.com?"

"Booked as a stopover we were really happy to stay at The Originals Boutique - exceeded our expectations. Spacious, airy rooms, good bed and shower, very quiet. Even had a garage for the motorbikes (5 euros extra). Perfect location - square, park and river. We had a great evening in Vichy"

"Extremely friendly staff, helped to find restaurant and map. Breakfast good value and tea leaf tea! One member of staff dusting the windows at 22:30. Did I say very good value?"

"I think some thought went into the design of the hotel but the day-to-day operation lets it down completely. Front door doesn’t lock properly, looks like was forced open. Air conditioning doesn’t work, sink leaks and drains onto the floor. No soap in shower. Drapes so close to sink that they get wet every time. Dead insects in drapes and windows. Some parts on room construction unfinished while other finished bits are falling apart."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was small but clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The area doesn't have any public transport, but I was meeting friends who live nearby and have a car so that wasn't an issue for me. The on-site restaurant was closed over the weekend, which was unexpected and I would have like to have been informed about this before booking, but it was easy enough to order food on Uber Eats. So if was fine. "
