Bit like a prison cell. Just cheap meaning poor as opposed to value cheap. I will never stay in these places again. Worth paying 20euros more for decent budget. The staff were helpful though.

You get what you pay for.
Check in and out pleasant, very hot as no air con but only used for one of the over night stops on the way to Spain. Cheap as chips so wasn’t expecting 5star accomation.

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, our room was perfect, a comfortable bed, tea, coffee and water, the fact that there was no TV in the room was a positive, we opted for an evening meal which was delicious and we both enjoyed a glass or two of red wine, our breakfast was also very good and plentyful, a perfect start to the day with the prospect of a 1,300 km drive ahead of us. The village is small but we enjoyed an hours flat walk along the old tree lined railway line, wish we had longer to explore further a field, all in all we found a hidden gem, would not hesitate in staying again and wish both Suzy and Stephen a successful summer.

The hotel was fine but the area was not at all nice. I wouldn't have liked to walk anywhere in that area. Fine if you want to sleep and leave. Don't try it without a vehicle.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, despite language barrier, continental breakfast was quite good, basic food, but the rooms are extremely small, the beds are small, our feet were hanging off the end, and the beds were very very hard. The bathroom has what is needed but again very small and no room for manoeuvre

Exactly what we expected
This is a very good value stopover and only a short drive from the motorway.. You get a room with a small bathroom/wetroom. It is very basic but we only needed a place to sleep with the kids to break up the drive to Bergerac and this was perfect. The usual places to eat are only a short walk/drive away, which is a bonus. Would recommend.

Basic but cheap and quiet.
Quite basic hotel and room, but cheap, receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The area was not very central, but excellent if you just want a nights sleep. And, as most guests were lorry drivers or salespersons, most people went to bed early and left early. Which.meant it was nice and quiet!

Great hotel at a bargain price
For what I paid you can’t ask for more. Shower was amazing and comfy bed too. Room nice and warm and breakfast was good too. Best coffee I’ve had at any small hotel I’ve stopped at!

Cheap but cheerful
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel - we really didn't expect much it being so inexpensive, but the service was good and the bed comfortable. On the downside the bathroom is tiny and there's no aircon, but for a 1 night stay it suited us fine.

Generally you get what you pay for. The room was very small and very basic. If you just want to crush for a night it can work if you want to stay any longer don't do it. From my side the worst was a terrible wifi.

We stayed for one night and actually got rooms together. Not your usual budget stay at all. An absolute bargain for a quality stopover.

pensioners view
we have stayed at mister bed several times but was disappointed at being given a room on top floor when your 70s and not as nimble,i think they should give priority to pensioners

Basic but service from staff first class.
The hotel was basic but so was the price. You get what you pay for. Staff were great. On arrival, friendly,informative and helpful. In the morning, very attentive in the breakfast area. Keeping choices well stocked and clearing and cleaning tables as soon as they were vacated. Hotel clean and tidy to a standard equal to a much more expensive hotel.

Good budget hotel
Like most budget hotels in France this hotel was in an industrial/commercial area but there were reasonable restaurants within walking distance. The hotel facilities and cleanliness were good and a decent continental buffet breakfast was available at a reasonable cost. Our only issue (minor) was that we found the bed rather firmer than we liked. It was an easy days drive from the Normandy coast and ports. We would stay at this hotel again.

Standard Budget hotel.
We stayed here as flying out from Tours Airport the following morning. (its about 15 minutes from aiport) Its ok as budget hotels go. There is a lot of construction going on near the hotel which is not the hotels fault but is very noisy from 7am. Room was reasonably clean and comfortable, but smelled of cigarettes a bit. It served its purpose though. Very friendly and informative gentleman on reception.

Overnight stop on way to the south.
Our room was clean, the bathroom was a little tired looking. Unforunately there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The communal areas all looked well cared for. The breakfast also looked good but we didnt have time to stop. There is an all u can eat chinese buffet a short walk from hotel.

Excellent value hotel
We stayed en route from the UK to the Dordogne and had a pleasant overnight stay in Chambray-les-Tours. You can walk to the restaurants in the commercial sector in about 15 minutes or the older town centre in about 25 minutes. The hotel is budget but perfectly nice. The continental breakfast is extra but not expensive (€6 when we stayed) we didn't have it but it looked ok. Reception was open until 9pm and there is free wifi and parking. What more do you want? Excellent value!

The staff were very very friendly. Room was simple but met our needs. Small bathroom, not unlike most European hotels, and two single beds. It was comfortable, quiet and met our needs. No complaints at all. Would book again.

Single night stay
Overall, I liked my stay here. Location was not ideal, but the property itself was good. Service at the reception etc. was very nice. Rooms were SMALL, but clean. The bathroom is designed by a Boeing engineer. If anything bigger bathrooms would make a big difference. Quiet and nice place otherwise. Definitely worth the money.

Generally OK but some issues
Friendly reception, comfortable and clean, but be aware reception is also closed Saturday afternoon until 5 which was not in the details when we booked. No air con so had to sleep with window open and lots of noise from guests arrrivng during the night. No restaurants within walking distance.

Most Disgusting stay!!
I stayed at this hotel on route back to Spain. I was traveling with my cat and had been staying in hotels in Spain,France and the UK, I found this hotel to be disgusting and the worst I stayed in. I was exhausted after the drive from Calais but only found fast food restaurants locally after eating and settling in the room my cat continued to smell around the room, I came to the conclusion other animals had been in there and that it had not been cleaned properly. I found a disgusting mark on the carpet. I checked and the bedding was clean so just slept and left also the room was very cold and the heater was not adequate for the size of room!!
