"Breakfast was amazing, the view from our room was great. When we got there a staff member walked in on us within ten minutes of being in the room which made us a little uncomfortable. As we were leaving the next day a different staff member asked us if we checked out the minute we left out someone went into our room at 9:30am. It felt a bit rushed. The area itself was beautiful and certain staff were wonderful as well."

"Incompetent staff. Unfortunately even if you carry an honor status you can't get room service daily . Even making of bed . Bathrooms need to be wiped down and vacuum daily . Very disappointing . Will stay with Marriott property next time ."

"Pros: Excellent location, you can walk to almost all of the interesting tourist points or amenities Boothbay offers, or all of them if you are motivated. It was great to come back from the many 2-4hr boat trips to freshen up in my own bathroom rather than wait in a public queue at the dock. The room was clean & bug free, toiletries provided, with additional supplies freely provided on request when needed. "The rooms were ok. Needed a paint job. The tub was old and needed new caulking. The restaurant/breakfast was very good. The pool was great. There was tons of goose feces near the fire pit and by the water. All in all it was ok."

"Beautiful spot and nice spacious room. Clearly orienting new staff and ramping up for the season. Disappointing was not accessing our room till 5:30pm after 5 hour drive and cold pools and hot tub with many babies and young children in it- an adult space would be nice. But love how family oriented the whole setting was and the spot and chairs to enjoy were great!"

"The room was attractive, spacious, and easy to get into with the room codes. It was also close enough to downtown to walk to many places. The room heater would be my only criticism. It would come on to the desired temperature and shut off once it was reached. The room would then get very cold before it clicked back on and so it was up and down for the entire stay. At times it was distracting."
