The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in all a horrendous stay.

Nice little stop over
The hotel was as described a good 2/3 star and nice and clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of Choice. Location good for meal out, cheeky evening beer.

The property is very dated with very small beds which are not that comfortable. The place is clean but very dated. e cannot comment on the breakfast as we left early. The reception was very helpful. Know the area so was not a problem to find somewhere to eat and get a drink

This was a great value stay for the four of us. The welcome from the lady was friendly, the room was basic but clean and functional. The ensuite bathroom cubicle was a little dated, but there was a kettle in the room (unusual for France in our experience). The towels and bedlinen were both lovely quality and spotless. Road noise is a factor, but we chose to have the window open so it may have been much better had we shut the window and shutters.

Great location and parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a lot of potential and the owner seems to be very motivated to improve and renovate, and it would benefit from further modernisation. The town is a must see, as it is very beautiful place to visit.

Good hotel close to centre
Good location half way through France; good half way stop for returning ferry. This hotel is only a place to get your head down for the onward journey. You would not want to spend anytime more time than that.

Nice personally run hotel
The hotel is run by a really nice woman who is gradually updating everything. However it is basic. Our room was small but it was spotlessly clean. We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on that. It is a short walk into town. The town is nice with lots of restaurants and a river running through.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes et seul le lit double était fait. Il y avait les draps pour les lits superposés pliés dessus. J'ai dû faire les lits à 22h30. Le parking est payant et ce n'était pas indiqué.

Auf der Durchfahrt Richtung Mittelmeer für eine Nach Zwischenstopp in dem Hotel gemacht. Dafür war es zweckmäßig und preis-/leistungstechnisch vollkommen in Ordnung.

De charmes van een oud hotel, leuk binnenplaatsje waar de auto op privé-terrein kan staan. Alles aan het hotelkamer was schreef. Ramen konden niet open. Stopcontacten konden niet gebruikt worden. Verlichting door lampenbolletjes. Kit op de badkamer los. Veel achterstallig onderhoud. Het ontbijt stelt niets voor. €8 pp is veel te duur. Koffiemachine werkte niet.

La chambre était convenable et propre. Le petit déjeuner n'a pas été assuré (manque de personnel et nécessité de réserver ???). Le parking a aussi été une surprise car payant. Les portes n'étant pas fermées, le véhicule aurait pu tout aussi bien rester dans la rue. Toutefois, le personnel présent était fort aimable.

Chambre refaite à neuf, seul problème les joints de carrelage ne sont pas nettoyés, j'ai eu l'impression de dormir dans un chantier. En arrivant la chambre n'était pas chauffée, par contre le chauffage a correctement fonctionné.

Photos sur hotels.com rien à voir vs réalité
Hôtel pitoyable. Poussière à gogo, Literie inconfortable. Sdb vétusté rien à voir avec les photos du site (douche pleine de moisissures, sans aucune finition, joints mastic manquants, évacuation limite bouchée et sanibroyeur). Je ne parle même pas des moustiques. Heureusement qu'il s'agit d'1 nuit seulement.

Gros problème à l arrivée. Mon paiement Expedia refusé. Puis accepté après une nouvelle tentative. Gros stress! Sinon bon séjour.hotel propre et déco relookée jolie.bon petit dej. Seul bémol : SDB vétuste avec sanibroyeur et champignons au plafond de la douche.
