We would have loved to come back one day

What a stay. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. The service, the room, the location, the atmosphere, everything was simply perfect. We realy enjoyed staying at Susana Balbo. We had a lovely trip to Aconcagua, not to the top, but first basecamp. we had an excellent guide that Balbo fixed for us. The vineyards we visited was lovely. they gave us Interesting informations about making wine and how the companies started. Fantastic wine. Loved everything about this stay. Absolutely Recommended.

I stayed i great hotels, but this one deserves all the stars . The place is beautiful great combination of nature and the last advances of technology in the rooms. The personal attention we received from the Susana Balbo team was superb a deserved to mention some names . Starting every morning Ximena was waiting l for us with the breakfast always happy and respected our privacy Its was a pleasure to see her every morning. Macarena, Barbara and jonathan for any requests we have and for plan the things we did they were outstanding . And Marco he was incredible we have a new friend in Mendoza he never stoped to go the extra mile to made us happy. Our drivers Sergio and Mauro were the best. Definitely we are going to come back when we need to rest disconnect and need to believe in the existence of good people. Thank you Susana Balbo and family for create this oasis .

Unfortunately not worth the splurge

The pros: - Room, bed, bath, shower, firepit & patio, all 10/10. We loved sitting outside with the firepit, the waitstaff in the evening were fantastic, and had one of the best massages of my life in the comfort of my room. What they get right they really get right!! The cons: We were given an incorrect menu 4 times during our short 3-night stay, so meant we weren’t able to order *any* cocktails or most of the food on the menu that we’d selected, multiple times. This includes even a menu I was handed *in* the restaurant and was then told was out of date… and the service was awful at times. It was often impossible to find waitstaff during the day, they didn’t monitor their WhatsApp particularly well, and we found communication with the front desk really poor - we tried booking tastings & meals and never received info, even after asking repeatedly - and the laundry service ruined some very expensive clothing by ignoring the care labels. Finally, they charge an insane amount for own-label wines - almost 50% more than at the winery itself. It’s a lovely property but at the price they are charging they should be impeccable and it felt very much like we were “soft launch” guests. It’s a lovely property but unfortunately would not recommend - the flaws were so great that it couldn’t justify the cost. They are clearly are targeting a premium market but need serious work before demanding the price they are.

There was nothing to NOT love about this property, the staff and the overall experience. It was simply incredible. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. The suite was wonderful. The location perfect. Will be returning. Absolutely loved it.

Péssimo serviço

No fim da viagem ( 9 dias em MDZ) decidimos fechar com chave de ouro e nos hospedarmos dois dias no SB. Lamentável e Péssima escolha! Primeiro: o hotel não fornece uma prestação de serviço de excelência, há muito que ser melhorado pelo preço da diária que pagamos (US$ 2.500,00 dólares). O gerente, Sr. Marcos, veio nos perguntar se havia algo para melhorar e demos nossas sugestões com relação aos serviços. (Fomos sinceros, dizendo que poderiam proporcionar uma experiência melhor, justamente pelo hotel ser pequeno e exclusivo, ter mais mimo, mais cuidado com os hóspedes pois não haviam coisas que queríamos e havia prestações de serviço de solda e no hotel durante a nossa estadia. Mas como se não bastasse o restaurante do hotel foi reservado para um grupo de fora de não hóspedes. Nós como hóspedes ficamos sem acesso ao restaurante e tivemos que jantar de forma improvisada na sala de estar. Ou seja, fomos jogados de escanteio, não foi nos dado preferência por ser hóspedes, o gerente não nos deu opções, falou para jantarmos no bar, onde havia poltronas e não mesas. Uma palhaçada sem tamanho. Fiquei extremamente frustado, pois era apaixonado pela história da Susana Balbo. Lamentável! Não caiam na besteira de achar que vale a pena, pois não vale.
