"We had booked this property as a stayover for my mum who was needing to be at the hospital nearby early the next morning. The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. "We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!"

"Lovely relaxed old style location. Really have a sense of history staying in a 300 year old building on a working wine estate. Not having a dinner option close by was a little inconvenient - but that said, we were there on old years eve. "

"Warm welkom, dames doen er alles aan om je een plezierig verblijf te bieden. Prachtig uitzicht uit een aantal kamers. Veel keus tussen kleinere kamers, iets groter en een heel huis met 1 of meerdere slaapkamers. De dieren op de farm: paarden, kippen en schapen lopen lekker te grazen op grote grasvelden. Goed uitgeruste keuken, eigen terras met meubels en bbq buiten en er ligt hout met aanmaakblokken om vuur te maken. "

"We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!"

"We had a most enjoyable stay at Wittedrift Manor House, it was as good as a previous stay a year ago. Delicious breakfasts by Carol and Dorothy and overall a guest house in Tulbach that is highly recommended in view of its wonderful atmosphere, great location, friendly service and special "arty" ambience!
