"Great value property! Motel style accommodation.Stayed 2 nights and the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Ate at the restaurant on the 2nd night and it was excellent. Food was wonderful and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. "Having stayed here previously, the motel is of a very good standard for a medium sized western town. There was only one minor issue. The Staff were all excellent offering advice on where to eat, the air conditioning worked well and there was ample parking"

"We had room 301. Great view of the race track and Mt. Panorama. The beds were so comfortable. The only thing was we couldn’t get the air conditioning to heat up past 19 degrees and it was a cold couple of nights."
