"Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. "The food service area was very hot. The common area restrooms are very hot. When the A/C turns off as you leave the room, it takes hours to cool the room again. The breakfast items were very good."

Anastazia and Andreas were incredibly helpful and courteous and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room was spacious with a veranda and sea view. Just lovely! We can’t wait to come back."

"Nice big villa close to beach, cleaned midweek, which was lovely. However, it was very difficult to find, and we weren’t told that we needed to bring beach towels, so had to buy them. Also a few annoying things like no salt or pepper, a dishwasher with no tablets, unheated pool, and a TV with no Netflix. Not terrible but we wouldn’t go back. "
