"Watch out for your time of departure on your last day, we were hoping for a lie in after some hard skiing and a leisurely breakfast before heading off but the snowmobile transfer back to village is not allowed to run between 9am and 5pm. It is not practical to take bulky luggage, skis, etc on chairlift so we had to get up early enough to catch the snowmobile. This was a very minor inconvenience and certainly would not stop me returning"

The breakfast is buffet style eat as much as you like. The bar is open for the afternoon and evening, run by the lovely Sarah who is an excellent host. "We thought this hotel was a good value for money. The location and breakfasts were excellent and the room clean. Our family room was not over the bar and only one night was there significant noise. The service was friendly. There were some hot water issues when we were there, with the shower temperature varying greatly. This may have effected our spa visit where the hot tub was not hot, only lukewarm and the Scottish shower was unbearably cold and uncomfortable. Additionally, the price was 60...

"Nice and clean property,located close to few restaurants.Staff are very helpful.Bed was comfortable,slept well.Lovely view of the mountains from our balcony.Train station is about 10 min away by taxi,so it was convenient for our morning train.We got a lift from one of the staff,so that was really appreciated.Would recommend 100%"

"We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Hotel Clotes. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always helpful at providing recommendations and dinner reservations. My husband is coeliac, and they had gluten free beer available in their bar, as well as a gluten free breakfast each morning. The bedrooms are comfortable and very clean.The reception area doubles as a bar, and a very sociable area for chatting with other guests about the days skiing. We will definitely be returning!"

"stayed for 5 nights with my adult son for a 5 day ski trip. it iwas an ideal hotel for a boys trip. we rented a junior suite with two double beds with a glorius view of the mountain and the cig-roc lift. the main entry and ticket office to the sestriere ski resort is directly across the street from the hotel. the ski check is below the ski ticket office so that was an added plus! we drove to the hotel rather than take a complex blend of trains and buses and with car rental prices so cheap in...

"Fabulous location near to the centre of town, great free shuttle service to and from the ski lift. Room was clean and comfortable and although there were groups of children staying at the hotel, it was very quiet at night. Good shower and plenty of space in the room. Great choice for breakfast and lovely bar/lounge area to relax. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the housekeeping staff who were very friendly. "

"TERRIBLE HOTEL. We were overcharged to stay at a glorified youth hostel. This 100 occupancy hotel was taken over by a 70-80 group of badly behaved school children. The owner did not have any consideration for the other guests. I am writing this review to inform anyone who is considering staying at this hotel, as there was not any information (warnings) on any website when we booked our holiday."
