" Wry clean, breakfast was decent & staff very friendly "

"Hotel staff and check in experience was wonderful. Arrived late and tired so smiling faces and positive attitudes were great to walk up to. The room however was in poor shape. Mold along the window seals and ceiling around the window. Only covered at first by the curtains. The room was wet in the air. So much that my wife’s hair was wet when she awoke just after about 6 hours sleep. Her once dry clothes hanging on the towel hooks were damp as well. The couch had multiple stains and the fire detector was detached from the ceiling mount. It may still have been operable but wasn’t in proper visual condition. Hotel/room just needs better maintenance and attention to detail."

"We had an an amazing stay in a comfortable room with a balcony right in the middle of downtown. The room had an individual feel to it, not cookie cutter design like other hotel rooms, and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend Hotel Chester! "
