"We had an amazing stay at Sala Chaweng and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a great selection and excellent quality every morning. Our Garden Villa was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. The app feature to contact the front desk was also fantastic – responses were always quick and efficient, making everything so easy. A special mention to the General Manager, who was constantly walking around the resort, checking in with guests and making time for a chat. It was clear how much he cares about both the hotel and the guest experience. The little extra touches throughout our stay made our honeymoon feel truly special, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend Sala Chaweng to anyone visiting Koh Samui and hope to return again in the future."

"Very visibly dated property. Surprised that it carried the SHERATON Badge . Towels, for a 5 star property were very worn out and thin amongst other things . Getting from one amenity to another required lots of steep walking , although there were golf carts available. Would I stay there again ???"

"The pool and access to beach front was very convenient. However, our room was directly in front of the bar/breakfast area so from 0715 they had music already playing so it would be difficult to sleep in. The curtains are also light so the rooms were bright early on. There were no PowerPoints near the bedside table and the showers were sandstone flooring, both of which was inconvenient. I would ask for a room away from the bar to have a little more privacy and quietness."

"Id say its cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. But, tbh....its not that cheap and they certainly are not cheerful. One member of staff tried her best. The others did not. Never saw the manager doing anything work related. It would have helped as the electrics were going out 15 times a night for the first week. Plus some residents felt it necessary to slam doors all hours of yhe night (its a very echoey building) Told staff, she did nothing. Only on week two did they send a makeshift electrician. It continued. So we had to move rooms. Same thing happened again. The second cleaning lady was nice though and did a good job. Shame the rest werent up to standards. I'd advise only staying here if on a budget and you can sleep through noise and heat. Shops and beach are close by though. And the shower was good!"
