"Excellent value for money. The staff was top notch and the beds were comfortable with real cotton sheets and comfortable mattress. Bathroom was old, but everything worked well, and the towels were fluffy, soft, and clean. Loved the fresh mountain water right from the tap to bathe and drink! The room was a bit hot even with the heat off, so I slept with the window open, but can't beat the value for money. Close enough to walk to town but quiet at night, great pool, and love the outdoor hot tubs. The restaurant is good, and the discount card that comes with the room is a nice service. Room was clean, fridge was great, missed the microwave for mornings, but realized there was one in the front office beside the fresh and free coffee, and that they will bring you a microwave to your room if you want one! Missed that table top sign. Overall, one of the best stays in Jasper in years, and we've tried many local hotels. Can't beat the price and super friendly and helpful staff!"

"I’ve learned my lesson to read reviews and do some research. This hotel is very dated and not well maintained. The rooms are small, double beds, mattresses and pillows uncomfortable, bathroom very worn out in every way. The hotel is pet friendly but the whole place smells like dog plus cigarettes plus Febreeze. The front entrance is litter with garbage and cigarette butts. The second night we were there was a Friday and we were woken up three times but loud commotion in the hall, the third a prolonged screaming and banging that resulted in another guest calling 911. Do not stay here if you have any other safe options. "
