Only complaint is when we had breakfast at the restaurant the coffee was cold and our breakfast was lukewarm and we went when they opened, Another then that it was a great stay!"

"The Scotia Lodge was a charming and fun place to stay. It's an older hotel that dates back several decades, but you can tell that a lot of work has been put into updating and maintaining the building, the rooms and the grounds. The location is great too: only a short drive to the Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt State Park in one direction, and Fortuna in the other with Eureka only a short drive further. The staff were very helpful to us, too, in helping store my mountain bike overnight so that I could rest easy, knowing it was secure. Staff were unfailingly friendly."
