5* at a fraction of the cost

We were welcomed by Augusta who has looked after this family house for 25 years. We were the only people staying in this wonderful house and will will go back. The Guest House is about an hour away from the Douro River. The drive was magnificent though the vineyards. I could have not got better service in a 5* hotel at a fraction of the cost. Overall magnificent 👍

Rustic Romance

After staying in the 'big' cities of Porto and Braga we were looking for something rustic and atmospheric. This charming Quinta fit the bill perfectly. We were greeted warmly by the young caretakers and shown to a lovely bedroom with the most perfect terrace; a gorgeous view and very private. Lovely bathroom with deep tub. Everything is very clean. If you're looking for Ikea or 'post modern' this is not it -- but if you're looking to set back in time, to take your time over a hearty breakfast, to sit with a book overlooking the Vinho Verde vines and then go out on an adventure to eat in the evening, then this is for you. We adored it.

Hotel encantador, personal muy amable, limpieza (casi) perfecta, camas un poco duras, aunque hay gente a quien gusta asi. La piscina maravillosa, el desayuno excelente, un precio muy ajustado, que mas se puede pedir?
