"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...

"The location in in the centre of town however double double glazing ensures there is no noise. The apartment is modern with everything you need for your comfort. There is parking nearby. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. "

"The property was lovely and the views were spectacular. However, between our limited Spanish and limited communication through expedia, we had some difficulty checking in."

"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador. Can fully recommend Santillana."

"Estancia céntrica para disfrutar del fin de semana y degustar los platos típicos de la cocina asturiana en un entorno maravilloso con vistas al mar Cantábrico. El apartamento perfecto para las personas que íbamos, no sabíamos que tenía un patio con barbacoa para haber disfrutado de ello, bastante orden y limpieza."

"The apartment is very nice, bright and modern. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable which is important when you are traveling. The apartment is walking distance to to restaurants and shops. Ruben, is very nice and helpful. Definitely will recommend staying here. "

Lovely hotel in a lovely town

"Easy to find the hotel and you can stop across the road to unload bags. Very friendly staff and the room was large, clean and very quiet. There were seating areas on each floor and the hotel was spotless with a nice bar area and outdoor seating. At the front of the hotel there were tables and chairs and a gazebo where we stayed to enjoy churros and chocolate from the bar. A lovely hotel in a lovely place and we will definitely be going back, both to the hotel and the town."

"An enjoyable and comfortable stay at Abba Hotel. Quiet, clean and good size room. We were upgraded on arrival which was an added bonus. Staff friendly and helpful. Indoor pool was warmish but clean. Bar was nice in evening. Breakfast was varied and plenty to suit all tastes. Good location with short walk from village. Easy to navigate. Would definitely return and recommend. Ideal for couples, friends, older guests. Although child friendly not catered specifically children. "
