"The property is spacious and beautiful. Guests can wander around and relax in many of the spaces. There are beautiful horses, alpacas and dogs, all of whom are loved and well cared for.
The rooms are clean and welcoming. Guests can use the refrigerator, kitchen utensils, and coffee and tea makers in the large dining area. The host, Pascal, is lovely and provides a warm welcome, and is nearly always available to converse, advise and suggest. We would happily return to La Petit Fourchon!"
"I booked this as a backup for the festival opening week and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Sweet and warm welcome, extremely helpful staff. Nice atmosphere amongst travellers as well. I guess the bad reviews are either from an earlier period or people don't understand it's a hostel. I was very glad to see a fan spinning in the room at night as it was very hot. Basic but generous breakfast for free. Showers are old but what can you say at this price - unbeatable regarding the prices at...
"This was a great place to stay for a night as we travelled. It was very close to the motorway but not noisy. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good and the price very reasonable."

"The front desk staff was exceptional - knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly! The rooms were quite large, clean and despite the location beside a major route, we were not affected. Itâs a 20 minute walk into Arles itself but with all the good food youâll be eating, you should indeed be walking! "
"It was an okay stay overall. I had read the reviews beforehand, so my expectations were already adjusted. That said, I really donât think this should be rated as a 4-star propertyâit sets an expectation the experience doesnât live up to.
The biggest challenge was finding our room. It took two of us, our driver, and even the security guard at the gate to locate it. If we had arrived after dark, it would have been very difficult. Our key was left in a lockbox in an envelope with our name on it. We had been told it was inside the building, but it was actually outsideâand there were multiple envelopes, so itâs very much a trust system.
The front desk was closed when we arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon, which was surprising.
On the positive side, the room was clean and well air-conditioned, and the pool area was lovelyâquiet and well maintained. However, we did have to put on our own sheets and duvet cover, which again calls the 4-star rating into question.
Thereâs a great buffet at the hotel next doorâgood quality and very affordable.
Just a note: the walkway to our room was broken in places and could be problematic for anyone with accessibility needs. There were also many gravel paths throughout the property.
All in all, fine for what it isâbut best to know what youâre getting into"
"I stayed here for 2 nights in June. The room was stiflingly hot when I arrived, and although there was an air conditioning unit in the room, it was completely useless even when the thermostat was set to the lowest temperature and the fan set at the highest speed. The settings had been removed from the air conditioning unit itself, presumably to save on energy bills from people wanting a comfortable temperature in the room on summer nights. So I ended up having to open the window all the way and prop the door open for hours just to allow some cooler evening air in, to give me a chance of getting to sleep. In addition to the air conditioning not working, the vending machine also was out of order. In order to access the WiFi, I had to go to reception to have the receptionist validate my credentials on my phone. This is my first time ever having to do this at a hotel. Positives are that it is low cost and has flexible cancellation. Just as well, as I was booked in to stay at another PremiĂšre Classe on my next stop, which I decided to cancel. "
