We had a pleasant stay at Ibis, very nice and helpful staff, pool was such a nice touch! A bit out of the way, you’d have to drive or Uber to the city centre. All in all, I recommend this hotel!

located close from the motorway A7 5mn drive from city center of Cavaillon Rooms seem to have been renovated compared to a few years ago as it started to be old nice view on river , even if we hear a bit main road too Good AC Pillows could be a bit more harder. This is a combination of Mercure and Ibis in one building with one reception desk. Oliver staff is extremely friendly and helpful, I stated an Ibis room which was cley and very comfortable. The included breakfast was varied, continental style.The location is at the edge of Cavaillon with easy access to the A7, D99 to St Remy de Provence, and the towns of Gordes and Roussillon.

Catastrophique

Odeur de shit dans la chambre à minuit. La chambre d’à cote se détendait « mais il arrête maintenant ». Aucune sanction. « il sera interdit à l’hôtel à l’avenir ». On ne propose même pas de changer de chambre. Après réclamation on le donne un autre chambre déjà occupée. 1h du mat enfin une chambre vide. Aucune excuses ni geste commerciale au Check out ni considération de la nuit catastrophique.

Moisissures et insonorisation inexistante

Propreté à revoir, moisissures dans la douche, radiateur bancal qui empêche la porte de se fermer, et surtout insonorisation inexistante, bruit des autres chambres et à partir de 6h du matin on entend les chariots du rez de chaussée rouler. Pour plus de 100 € la nuit, cela ne vaut vraiment pas le coût... Seul point fort le petit déjeuné était très bon et le service. Je passe aussi les grosses tâches sur le sol dans les couloirs... Et le radiateur de la salle de bain avec le papier toilette juste au dessus.. Ah et dernier points les vitres extérieures très salles (voir les photos)

Bien placé à côté du Min… mais

L’hôtel jumelé au Mercure est bien situé, proche du Min. En revanche c’est bien la seule qualité de l’établissement. Chambre rustique des années 2000 qui manque cruellement de modernité, odeur nauséabonde à l’entrée de la chambre, surchauffée avec la loggia qui fait serre, climatisation non fonctionnelle, impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres à cause du bruit de la voie rapide et des trains, télévision minuscule, pomme de douche basique, pas de service de base mouchoirs, pas de bouteille d’eau (sous prétexte d’eco responsabilité), petit déjeuner vraiment basic le tout pour la modique somme de 153€!! L’accueil est correct en revanche aucun geste par rapport au fait que la prestation ne soit pas complète (Clim non fonctionnelle) juste un « ah d’accord… » bref pour ma part ce sera belle et bien l’unique fois que je mets les pieds dans cet établissement. Pour info chambre 235.

Adequate but not 100% as advertised

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to attend a wedding in the area. Found it clean and comfortable but with some mis-representations. Firstly, on hotels.com the room was listed as having a mini fridge. We arrived to find a spot for a fridge but no mini fridge. When we asked we were told they don't have them. This was a major nuisance as it was very hot (July) and we couldn't cool our pre-purchased water as we expected when we selected the room. Secondly, the hotel advertises itself as having EV chargers. Physically this is true but practically it is not. The EV chargers operated by a 3rd party who requires pre-registration and 10 days to mail a chip-containing card for payment.. without which cannot use the chargers. Unless you already have the app and card they are of no use. Hotel takes no responsibility and provides no support for the EV chargers. The lack of EV charging capabilities was a significant problem for us as we rented an EV believing we could charge at the hotel but we couldn't. We would most likely have made other arrangements if we knew the real "status" of the EV chargers. Some positives: ample free parking, good breakfast and pool was great relief for summer heat.
