Great location, can get good food just a minute of walk, shopping mall & train & bus stations just minutes away.
Small room, I mean really really small room, even though I got upgraded by the very nice staff.
Stylish lobby & reception.
The staff in this hotel cannot be faulted. They help in any way they can and yet are not obtrusive. The hotel is convenient for the MTR and close to the many shops Hong Kong is famous for. There are major works outside but this cannot be heard from the hotel and does not cause a problems. There are good restaurants inside with a wide range of food and prices. The breakfast is amazing as there are so many choices catering for international tastes. The executive suites provide access to a quiet lounge on a high floor. Complimentary snacks and drinks are offered. The décor is a rather dated but always clean. The attention given by the staff for your wellbeing more than compensates for this.
The hotel was chosen because of a very good previous experience. As I am a light-sleeper, i look for hotel with rooms are discernly quiet - that's I shouldn't be hearing the movement in the next room. Somehow, perhaps of the positioning of the bed - every night and morning, I could hear the opening of the luggage bag, and the small closet door from the next room.
The hotel provides cleanliness, service as per any decent hotel. Nothing exceptional in a sense that stood up for me this time.
Location was superb, and the hotel design was pretty cool. Staff were helpful, friendly and went out of the way to help us store our luggage, late check in given when our flight was at 2am. Facilities were clean of course, given that this was a new hotel. Other than the wifi being slow, there's really nothing to complain about.
Hotel was okay and offered a no fuss experience. My room was kind of small and the restroom felt cramped. However, the room was clean and includes a safety deposit box, which was much appreciated as I did not want to carry my passport and most of my cash when walking around Hong Kong.
The hotel is close to the subway and to the different malls in Causeway Bay. Location is not an issue.
Hotel staff initially seemed to be like the typical Hong Kong staff you encounter on other 3 star hotels.... aloof and sounds irritated at all times. Maybe this is just the way they project when doing their job. Nevertheless, my request for a late checkout was immediately approved and I appreciate their decisiveness on my request.
