"I booked this stay prior to reading reviews and was very disappointed by pretty much everything. The entrance itself is completely locked and did not feel very welcoming. There with some issues with check in and the staff didn't seem very welcoming. Our room was very outdated and also not very welcoming or comfortable. "Front desk staff were extremely helpful and provided me directions/tips on things to check out in Vancouver. The walk up to the room was a bit off putting with the carpet but the room (hard wood floors) and shared bathroom were both very well maintained and clean. Given Vancouver prices, very affordable and great place to stay!"

"Excellent location. The hotel was an old apartment building converted to a hotel. It was old and tired .. Don't expect luxury accommodations .. yes,we had a one bedroom suite but it was old & tired & in need of renovation. AND .. The street below was full of patio restos with customers screaming & shouting until the early hours! The good news .. our 1 bedroom suite cost $400 a night for 3 people .. FAR cheaper than other nearby hotels."

"We were at 4th floor. It supposed to have a balcony but it wasn’t a balcony!! Windows were not sound proof. We were hearing the noise of street whole night. The water pressure of the shower was low. I was misunderstood by the hotel explanation of Expedia that parking is included but it was not. I paid 21$ for each night"

"Very friendly staff, well maintained property. Some parts were newer than others. I wish the pool was heated but we still found it fairly pleasant. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby, the beds were great, so nice to have a kitchenette!"
