"Location area is not that pleasant. A big construction opposite.
Hotels like Rex and Continental are in better areas.
Hotel should at least offer linen napkins for breakfast and have a better range of food offerings to warrant 5 stars.
Pool is small.
Bathroom large but poorly designed. Baths need climbing into and are somewhat dangerous to elderly.
Dont expect any view outside."
"This is my second time returning to Nikko Saigon Hotel. I really enjoyed the service from the staff. They were very welcoming, cheerful, and enthusiastic. I especially liked the housekeeping staff; their training was very meticulous, paying attention to even the smallest details. I often get my hair done and charge my phone, so my belongings were scattered all over the table, but the staff neatly arranged and coiled the cords. The breakfast buffet had a generous amount of food, and I was very satisfied with the staff. Although there were both new and old staff, one male staff member, either Dien or Diem (I don't remember exactly), recognized me from last year's Nikko Saigon Hotel and remembered that I liked my Vietnamese iced black coffee without sugar. And Mr. Nam, who works in the kitchen, always created wonderful memories for my family with his special dishes. I will definitely return."
"Breakfast variety and tastiness was outstanding! Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Hotel is centrally located and easy to navigate. Many stores, restaurants and souvenir shops are within walking distance. Highly recommended! "
"We stayed in a 3 bed apartment and it was sufficient for 6 adults. I think the non en-suite toilet would have been better if it was bigger whilst the en-suite was too big. Breakfast was good and the choice was ok. Had Japanese food in the hotel and that was good. The view in the reception area was amazing. The location is very good and lively. Close to restaurants and shops. Not that far from the airport. Would recommend. "
"We experienced a serious safety issue during our stay. The shower head was not securely fastened and fell off without me even touching it. When it detached, it broke part of the ceramic fixture, which then fell onto my foot and caused a bleeding injury. I am currently pregnant, which made the situation especially concerning.
This appears to be a maintenance oversight that should have been identified and addressed prior to guest arrival, particularly at a five-star property. Additionally, a staff member indicated that this type of issue “happens all the time,” which raises further concerns about ongoing safety standards.
I will not be returning to this hotel. "
