"We were on first floor, handicap accessible room. Carpet was heavily deteriorated/torn where it stops at the bathroom. Our non-smoking room smelled like 63 years of nonstop chainsmoking as soon as we entered. Pillows felt like they had 4 feathers inside them.... each (i mean... at least they were soft i suppose). They provided 4 pillows... and we appreciated all 16 feathers during our stay.
Wifi access did not work for us during our stay. The toilet wobled "to-and-fro" and someone thought it was a good idea to fill the 1" gap to the floor tiles with an enormous bead of white silicone caulk to "fix" it.
The shower leaked all the way to the center of the bathroom... and created what one might consider a large children's slip and slide in the middle of the room as you carefully exit the shower trying not to fall on your exposed goodies after journeying through "Shrek's swamp"
There was a knock on our door at 2am.... aftwr i moved the table we used to barricade the door closed for the night to check... no one was there (enter sigh of relief here)
The breakfast was pretty good. The eggs were the consistency of a dish sponge, & the paper-thin bacon you could see through was a first for me... but I could understand why seniors with no teeth might enjoy the style of food you dont have to chew to swallow. The waffle/pancake batter was interesting.. but I understood why it was so thinned down... It wouldn't pour out of the contraption otherwise.. so that worked
The pool was nice!"
"The single bedside lamp didn't work. The outlets in the room were so old and worn that a phone charger wouldn't seat tight enough to make a connection. There was no top sheet on the bed, only a fitted sheet and a comforter. The breakfast area is so small that I presume it was originally a guest room that has been converted to a "breakfast area". They had no normal milk at breakfast, only Oat Milk. If this had been my first impression of the Marriott Bonvoy brand, I would not use them again."
"Excellent hotel!! Clean, nice location, Easy parking. Would love to stay there again!! Excellent staff especially the gentleman that checked us in. He was exceptional!!"
"Smoke detector removed and wires hanging out the wall. Toilet leaking in the floor, paint peeling on the door frame, stained walls and water stained ceiling in the bathroom. Bed was hard as a rock. Will not stay there again.
Staff was very friendly at check in. "
