Top Catsfield Hotel Reviews

The Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good

"It's a good hotel to stay but the big lift did not work so could not take my scooter up to the room to charge The staff very friendly especially the young bar man Good size rooms"

The Lookout Rye

8/10 Good

"Although some areas needed renovation for example the main stairway carpet was very worn and the rooms were a little dusty in places but the room was clean enough I would like to recommend the hotel and it’s staff they were absolutely amazing and they couldn’t done enough for us the breakfast was wonderful lots of choice I would recommend this hotel beautiful setting too"

Marine Parade Hotel

8/10 Good

"We had a short one night stay. The correspondence on before and upo. arrival was fantastic. The gentleman took us to our room and carried our luggage. The room had a stunning view and had just been updated. There was a mini fridge and kettle. The bathroom wasn't updated though amd unfortunately the floor was leaving thick black marks on our feet. Though it looked clean. I mentioned this to these owner and they apologised and dealt with it in a professional manner. We would definitely go again as a local to us and great stop off instead of a taxi home."

The Chatsworth Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Visiting a relative in Eastbourne, we booked the hotel based on its reviews, and we are so glad we did. With a great position, right on the sea front, with just a short walk to shops and restaurants. A beautiful building, built at the turn of the 20th century it had been completely refurbished, and re-opened in 2019. They have skilfully kept the best things, the 125 year old cage lift, the beautiful downstairs windows and other architectural details, whilst modernising the property in keeping with the original style. We loved the piano bar and the guest lounge. Our room on the top floor has a sea view, a very comfortable bed, coffee machine and tea-making facilities. The bathroom was ideal, with the walk-in shower we had requested. They provided a hairdryer although I had taken my own. The only slight irritation was that, like so many other hotels, there was no mirror anywhere near a plug to see how you were drying your hair. Parking was available across the road and the hotel provided the necessary parking permit at a very reasonable cost, Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. A wonderful hotel that we will use again."

Royal Wells Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I had a "newer" room at the back of the hotel overlooking my favourite pub, the Beau Nash Tavern. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-appointed. As a new room it was shoe-horned into the existing property so getting to my room was pretty funny as the path from the front desk to it was convoluted in an entertaining sort of way (people enjoyed the video on my Instagram!). I had dinner and breakfast in the dining room, both were excellent too. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would stay here again."

Cavendish Hotel

8/10 Good

"Quick overnight stay, hotel well placed for Sunday afternoon on the Pier and close to the Congress Theatre for my evening concert, likewist 15 odd min walk from Eastbourne Train Station, Stff very helpful, bed room reasonale size with large bathroom (with bath). Coffee/ tea etc in room. Room nice and warm overnight (didn't try T.V. but used the fridge). Will definately book there again if a concert comes up."
