Hotels near Cathcart Island

"The hotel itself is quite dated. The room we stayed in had the carpet removed and linoleum on the floors. We had a suite which was basically 2 small rooms with an adjoining bath. There was a heating/cooling unit in the room with the bed. It didn’t work well to heat the other room. We had people above us that were runny around a lot so ask for a room that has no one above you. Continental breakfast didn’t start until 0730 am so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast sine what places to go. The walkways are pretty run down and uneven. The staff were super friendly and helpful. "

"Simple no-frills. Welcoming staff. Problem/. The room’s heat/AC unit was very very loud and, to make it worse cycled on & off every few minutes. Walking by the exterior wall of a few other rooms, i noticed that their heat/AC units were also very noisy… not broken noisy… just cheap"

"I booked a specific room, and upon arrival I was informed that it was no longer available. Instead, I was given an accessibility room, which is not what I reserved. I would expect to be upgraded for the inconvenience, not downgraded. This reservation issue was not caused by me, and I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. At this point, I am not satisfied with the service."
