"Terrible welcoming. Nobody in reception. C/i process in the middle of a coffee shop and the hotel. They didn’t ask for booking names. They didn’t know how many nights we stay. Room dirty with only 2 tiny towels for 2 pax. Walls completely dirty. No complementary water as usual in Vietnam. A tiny bottle of warm water in the coffee for 10k vnd. "Great stay at Grand Hyam. Staff were very professional yet friendly and helpful when needed.
We booked 2 rooms via Agoda and booked an extra room on the spot via Expedia. We wanted to stay on the same floor and one of the staff went above and beyond to help us do so. It was such a kind gesture!
Rooms are spacious and beautiful. A bit of shame we had mold in the bathroom and that the housekeeping was a bit neglected (floor not clean carefully and hand marks could still be seen near tv frame).
Gym was small but good enough for a workout.
Breakfast is a bit of a miss on our end tho, crowded with group tours from Hanoi who sometimes are a bit uncivilised… other than that, still a great experience."
