"The room was really clean and as described. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and that was not mentioned on the site. I learned about it the day before my arrival. Fortunately, the host had good restaurant suggestions. The hotel advertise a pool and a jacuzzi, they have both but the pool was VERY cold (normal in April) and the jacuzzi was not inviting (bee nest, Luke warm, in the shade...). The location is stunning, yet close to amenities and lots of different options for sightseeing, day trips etc. Rooms were a great size and well equipped. The staff were beautiful. I found them to be so warm and friendly and the perfect blend of checking on you and your needs but not having the feeling that they were stalking. Food and wines were fabulous! I can not wait to come back again I"

"We stayed for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The location is great: just a minute’s walk from the bus terminal (perfect for our day trip to Assisi) and easy escalator access to the city center. Rooms were spacious for a European hotel, and the modern facilities are well-maintained. The included breakfast was satisfactory. Note that the gym and pool require an extra fee - I didn’t have time to use them anyway, but it was a bit surprising. "

"It is very quiet, close to town, nice grounds and pool. It had the nicest bedding and mattress that we had in our 3 week vacation. The downside is there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms. No real drinking glasses, just plastic ones in plastic bags. Kind of expected better at this price point."
