"Great location on a canal very close to St. Mark’s Square and ferry stops, but no hotel sign due to historical property legislation so hard to find with only a doormat inside with hotel name and since it is a very small hotel with 14 rooms, employees in the area can’t give directions. "Loved the look of the room with exposed beams and roof tiles and the air conditioning!! The bathroom was clean and well equipped. Both the bathroom and bedroom were roomy and there was a view of the canal. Luggage storage was great. It’s true the steps up with heavy luggage were inconvenient but all part of the experience! "

"Ca' Valeri was in a quiet alley but just a few minutes walk from all the major sites. The room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely come back."

"Very good area, we loved staying there, front desk lady was very nice, explaoeverything, detailed map cleaning lady Luba was very nice. The only thing is if you have back or joint problem is hard to climb on those stairs- no elevator."

"This is a very unique property. Our room had an upstairs loft. The decorations, furniture, etc were beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Our canal view was a tiny pocket view with a bridge filled with trash (obviously they have no control over the trash). Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy.
