"We were the only British there and all other guests seemed to be Italian which was fine by us....it is Italy after all but it may not suit everyone. We travelled around Puglia and Basilicata and this was the place where English was least spoken and so our bit of Italian learned before travelling ..."

"Amazing hotel built into the surrounding caves. Very conveniently located in the Sassi with many bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Spa experience was well worth it. Only slight reservation was the weak air conditioning which in the height of summer would be more of an issue."

"Finding the property was nearly impossible. Directions From staff or incomplete. After locking for a long time in the area. A staff member came to meet us. They could solve this easily by providing a QR code for Google Maps."
