"Clean rooms "

"The staff were all very nice. We had issues with the first room we received. It smelt terrible, old and felt dirty. The second room was nicer, but still had stains on sheets, bathroom was dirty and still had a dirty feel to it. This location needs lots of TLC, but location was excellent."

"The room was a good size and having two bathrooms was very convenient. It is an old hotel so there are obvious wear and tear. However, I didn't understand why the sheets on the bottom where the mattress box is had rips and holes around it. And, the night stand was sticky as if it wasn't properly cleaned. The location was very convenient. The gondolas were less than a 5 minute walk away as well as the shops and restaurants. My biggest complaint is when I removed the privacy sign, housekeeping didn't come in to clean the room, take out the trash, or bring in new towel and toiletry. I was not feeling well that day and i had to go to the front desk 3 times before they sent clean towels. If housekeeping or front desk would pick up the phone, I wouldn't have to keep going downstairs. I called them more than ten times and no one picks up. "

"I have been staying at this hotel for 16 years now. They are improving the look with all the construction around but the customer service has become worse. Check in, my upgrade price was much lower at the kiosk than at the front desk. Cleaning? Not for me. I stayed for 5 nights and after 3 nights in a row of them telling me someone was coming to clean, no one ever came and it was time for me to leave. All I really wanted was towels and to take out the trash but that is too much to ask here. Bring back Harvey’s and the awesome staff that used to make this place great "

Additionally, the bedsheets had a blood stain upon arrival, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The ice machine located next door was quite loud, and the walls were very thin, making it difficult for my entire party to get any rest. Furthermore, the breakfast service was lacking, as several items were unavailable.”"
