"The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!"

"Clean, beautiful room with a vintage feel. Great staff, very attentive. If you have a show to go to they offer a car service to take you there. It’s a 5 minute walk to the theater though so that was nice. Tandem bakery is right next door. You have to get coffee and pastries. Make sure to get a loaded biscuit. "

The apartment we stayed in was roomy, impeccably clean, and well-furnished. We had everything we needed for our stay. Security was great, parking was easy, and right next to a police parking lot, so very secure. We look forward to staying here again!"

"Excellent breakfast option for eggs or tasty fresh yogurt. One day out of four they strangely neglected to clean the room, even with a door sign requesting service, but the night front desk person took it upon herself to do so when we noted the problem after returning around dinner time. She’s a gem. Showers were excellent. Rooms were reasonably sized too. Request a third floor if you don’t like the sound of people above your room walking around as the hardwood floors amplify this. "Rooms are decent at best. The lighting in the bathroom is very dark and dim which made it difficult to get ready in. The beds are comfortable but the sheets and comforter are pretty thin. The pantry which was advertised on the website (located on each floor) is a joke and was never stocked."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn by the bay in Portland Maine. It was an excellent experience and not terribly expensive for booking. I loved how the staff was able to upgrade my room just from checking in alone. Recommend anyone passing by to at least stay here just for the heck of it if you got time and money to spare."

"The hotel was clean and in a great spot. The staff was helpful. I was disappointed in some of the tech. You are asked to text to retrieve your car. Our car was “not recognized by the system”. We also were unable to cast to the TV in our room with a streaming app. The service kept on recognizing an adjacent room. We called the helpline but they could not resolve the issue. "
