The hotel is lovely - Tuscany charm, basic but pretty rooms.
But... The kitchen was closed when we arrived although we came within opening hours. We picked the hotel specifically for this reason, we just wanted to eat at the place, have wine. We had to go to a nearby town, only 10 mins, a nuisance though if you have just arrived soaked and ravenous.
As for the breakfast - super basic, no eggs. Not a big thing bit given the price of the room, disappointing.
And finally what got me to write this review was a ridiculous note in the dining area telling you that you are allowed to consume your own food and your own wine in your room, should you need cutlery or bottle opener, they will come at a price and you will be charged for any damage to those loaned goods. The charm's gone now...
