Krisan, the manager was always ready to help with directions, the history of the motel, or allowing me a late check out. Motel is right out of the 1950's with full kitchen and lots of room. I will be back. Parking right at the door. Very quiet with great resturant next door.

Gentlemen at check-in was very kind. Was in town with my band for a festival. The room served its purpose for the night. Close to town. Highway was a bit noisy with trucks but, to be expected if youre a light sleeper.

Looking forward to staying here again!

Had a delightful experience at the Blue Mist! The Manager, Krishna Patel, was extremely courteous and helpful. He made sure our room completely met our expectations, and went above and beyond in making sure our comfort needs were met! The motel is obviously older, but management has also obviously put in much effort to keeping the place looking clean and appealing as much as is practical, so don't let its age discourage you! My wife and I will be planning another trip in this area sometime soon and look forward to another night at the Blue Mist!

Nice older property. Well maintained and very clean. 2 chairs and a table in the room were definitely a plus. Very friendly staff, efficient and accommodating. Even though it is on a main street the courtyard is relatively quiet and shielded the street noise.

Pros for my one night stay this past weekend were, the room was very accommodating, close parking, friendly staff, prompt service, clean spacious room, large bathroom with tall 2 person shower stall, very cold AC unit in room, large flat screen cable TV, 1 reg. refrigerator in kitchenette, 1 med. Mini fridge in dining area, awesome prices! Cons are that the kitchenette does not have shades or curtains up, therefore, others can see right in come evening time. Other than that, I had a great experience here. Would definitely be back. Thank you.

This is the place in the movies where they have to “hole up” either because they’re being chased or heading outta town! Not really “bad” but very dated. The man at the desk was very friendly and personable. The beds were OK. Nice to have a fridge. Wifi worked. Cleanliness could be improved.

Mixed bag. The people who run this place, and presumably own it, are very very nice. Personal interactions are very friendly. The motel is very conveniently located. And it is a motel, so you can park right by the door. All of that is good.But…The property is old and rundown. Linens may be clean, but they are very dingy. Pool is out of commission with dirty water at the bottom. I requested daily housekeeping, but did not receive it. Think of it as a place for construction workers, railroaders, hunters, etc.

Unique, vintage motor hotel in a quaint old town. Walking distance to a few places to eat, including the Irish Cowboy pub, which had live music. The street is a bit noisy, and there was a “colorful” character hanging around, but generally felt safe enough; with the exception that someone messed with my motorcycle (tried to open the panniers) overnight. The rooms are very modest, very vintage, and clean. Worked fine as an off-the beaten track stop for a motorcycle trip (but be sure to keep your vehicle locked up tight).

We were on a road trip and needed a place to stay for the night. It was easy to find - painted all aqua blue. Traffic noise was noticeable, at busy intersection. Couldn't access free wifi. Bathroom had a dirty smelly towel hanging neatly and toilet could have been cleaned better. Coffee was missing, had to get some at office. Office Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

What you would expect for a motel in Florence

It’s exactly what you would expect for a motel in Florence. The front desk person was nice and helpful. The room was decent and had exactly what we needed - shower, toilet, bed, television. Pillows and blankets were 1/10 - at least they had something. Would definitely recommend bringing your own pillow and blanket or stop by Walmart to get a pillow and blanket. Ice machine was out of order but they do have a monster vending machine. Would have expected to pay about half of what we paid for the room for one night. Overall, it was good.

The Blue Mist has the potential to be a lovely property. Our check in was without issue and the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind. Sadly during our one night stay we were unable to access the internet, despite directions and numerous attempts. The AC worked just fine as did the shower and frig. The springs on the bed sound bad but the bed was comfortable. Greater concerns include gnats in the room and general disrepair of the room. While the property is conveniently located next to the highway the noise level at times was excessive. The Florence Cafe, very near the motel was the perfect breakfast choice.
