"If you’re looking for the cleanest, the most comfortable, the best kept property, and privacy THIS IS ABSOLUTELY the place! It was an immaculate experience. My advise? Buy the breakfast - and yes get it delivered to your cabin. It’s 1000% worth it. Daniel is an AMAZING chef. Be sure to stop in to the office for homemade treats each day. Dora is so welcoming and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better couple’s retreat. We’re excited to come back someday!!"

"The location and the view were very good. Overall, the property was beautiful. However the hotel itself was sub par. Check in took very long, some of the rooms were not ready so some people in our party waited over 2 hours. No seats were provided and you just stood in a long line. No compensation was offered for the delay. The rooms were ok, but nothing in the fridge nor a bottle of water. For the duration of our stay (2 nights), there wasn't any housekeeping and our rooms were never cleaned or...

"Nice stay, Great staff! Suggest renting a single unit, as if you were in one with attached, very noisy. In our unit you could only watch tv in bed, and the headboard was definately not made for that, very uncomfortable set up. Great location for visiting The Dalles, Multnomah Falls (and other falls) and the Bonneville Dam and fish ladders."

"Really not what it was advertised as. The spa was good, not great. The hot tubs were great. The staff was not friendly or helpful and the food was really poor. Also the coffee shop was pretty bad. Extra disappointed in the food based on how it was advertised. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better with just a little better service, food quality, and management."

"It is a beautifully maintained facility with a georgeous view and beautiful flower gardens. We stayed in a room with a river view and the ceiling was solid beams with tongue in groove covering. Not a typical ceiling at all. It was wonderful. The history in the book in the room indicated the first building was built in 1909 and others have been added, by the owners over the years, the building we were in was added in 1990."

"Located in a scenic location overlooking the Columbia River (can't see River from most rooms), but beautiful walks. Next to Columbia Gorge Hotel where you can walk to and have a delicious dinner. Property is well maintained and nicer and a better value than chain hotels in the areas."
