"This was a quick overnight stay while we visited Westport. Hilary greeted us at check-in and was very nice. She was also very helpful with providing us with taxi information. The property is about a mile and a half from the shops and restaurants, so we walked into town, then took a cab back later after shopping, dinner, pints, and music. "Patricia was an excellent hostess who made sure we were well taken care of. The room was very comfortable, and the location is in a rural location that is nonetheless easy to get to and from for nearby driving excursions. The Aughnanure Castle is only five minutes away. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend. "

"First experience of a hostel and I could not recommend this type of accommodation enough. Wow value for money very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

We stayed for five days and thoroughly enjoyed our time whether in one of its restaurants, the pool, the various luxurious lounges, or relaxing in our room. We look forward to returning and exploring more of the surrounding area. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. "
