"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"We have visited Longlands a few times but in the last few years mainly for a meal or just for drinks. This time we stayed 1 night and it was very good. Very comfortable bed and a good standard bathroom with very good shower. Breakfast was good too - I'd recommend the Breakfast Hash - a dish I'd not come across before and which was very tasty. Really nice friendly staff too."
