"Lot of trash around my bathroom was filthy I had to clean it the tub was really bad I went and purchased bathroom cleaner and made it nice I was there four days they never cleaned or even came to my room i had to chase down the Housekeeping to get toilet paper just a real crappie place to stay but cheap live and learn"

"Good place for a concenient weekend getaway in the Monterey/Carmel area! Traveled with a child. Near costco gas and amazing Italian restaurant. Nearby cafes/shops for needs. Parking easy."

"This hotel was amazing. The amenities were perfect, the view was gorgeous. And the atmosphere was very calm. We sat in the lobby area in the evening, had breakfast in the restaraunt. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We will be returning."

"We left an item of clothing behind and the property called us promptly after we checked out to notify us that we left an item behind. They were so friendly."

"The stay was disappointing overall. The room had cobwebs and dust all over the walls, which made it feel poorly maintained. There was also no AC in the room, and this was not mentioned anywhere during booking. When we raised our concerns with the staff, they were not very helpful and came across as stubborn. Instead of addressing the issue properly, the response we got was basically, “This is an old hotel, around 100 years old, what do you expect?” That was quite unprofessional and...

"I never leave reviews but this place wasn’t nice. It’s literally in a gas station it’s so weird. The bathroom towels we had were stained, there was a hair in the shower. The ironing board was filthy. The TV was comically small we actually had a good laugh over it. Literally like the TV in the Dinner Party episode in The Office. Checking in was legitimately inside a gas station, which was on me I didn’t do much research. The blow dryer didn’t work and the place just felt dirty"

"This is a pretty "basic" property in a not great part of town. That being said, it is nice that they offer a restaurant within walking distance, and the girl who checked us in was very kind. They were understaffed and it was very busy, and it was clear the on-site manager was annoyed she had to come in and assist. Overall, not terrible, but would not select this property again. Also, not very convenient for handicap people, as the ADA rooms are so far from the restaurant / amenities."
