"The hotel was fantastic and we stayed here for 4 nights. The continental breakfast was some of the best I have had from a hotel. The coffee machines are available 24/7 and grinds and brews fresh coffee. We had a room with two king beds which is hard to find, but we appreciated very much. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have is the laundry room only had one washer and dryer that took $6 in quarters and closed at night."

"There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Even though we knew it, we did know it would get so stuffy in the middle of the night. So we did not get a good night's sleep. After we open the fan and the patio door for the 2nd night, it was much better. The breakfast area is a bit cramped."

"We love staying at Carmel Bay View Inn. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean, and your minutes from the beach. Everything is walkable, shops, bars, restaurants. Definitely one of the best places to stay."

"Front desk really do all they can to make your stay enjoyable including a goody bag on arrival and bottled water. There are fire pits as well, for warmth or relaxation. Great location and very functional room."

"Parking here was plentiful but the rooms are small, misleading descriptions when you are booking your room. The bed is tiny as hell, no amenities just a bar of soap for your hands but that's to be expected at Motel 6. I didnt use the shower so don't know how that is but our toilet got clogged easily when we didn't use that much toilet paper. Says it's on the ground level but you still have to go upstairs when heading to your room. Small TV as well. Felt like we were in a shoebox."

"Overall is nice hotel, good location, walking distance to aquarium and restaurants. But the room facing the street is noisy and no any sound proofing."
