"It’s a nice hotel in an ideal location. The amenities are great with a large grass area with tables and overlooking the ocean. An adult only hot tub and a family pool and jacuzzi too. On site activities, steps from the beach and downtown and an activity center that gives out beach chairs boogie boards towels etc. "

"We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!! "
