"The suite is very open, nice and comfortable. There is no microwave, but there’s a tiny mini-fridge. My front and back terraces have a great view of the mountain and an ancient structure. Keep in mind that there are stairs and no lift. Many places in Sicily and Europe are refurbished out of ancient or at least old stone buildings. Lifts would be impossible in some. It’s beautiful if you can navigate it. "

"Très propre, bien décoré, un peu loin de tout mais tranquille, toujours le même problème l accueil par whattsapp, sans contact direct, toujours aussi désagréable. Petit déjeuner correct rien de plus. Pas trop de contact avec le loueur non plus à cette occasion, dommage. Decor bien, contact humain.. sans plus."

"Nice and very clean little hotel close to PMO Airport with the most helpful owner/staff. They will do everything to help you in need. In my case, problem with car rent company. They found me another company and literally saved our

"Once I'd found the entrance behind the gate, everything fell into place, and the hostess was so helpful and friendly throughout - there is car parking inside the gate, and the room itself was a good size, with effective aircon and a fridge - there were though a few mosquitoes about, so bring repellant in the warmer months. The bathroom for the room (just one step across the hallway) was compact, but the shower effective and it was all well lit. A short ten minute walk gets you to the...

"Decent hotel in a lovely location, the pool is amazing and staff are all helpful and friendly- good breakfast too.
Rooms are comfortable but hotel is starting to look tired in places so a refurb is due in some areas"
"Super hotel in the heart of the city, full of history and character. Nice breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. The piano playing in the centre of the hotel was a nice touch"
"The hotel/rooms are very clean, spacious and fantastic sea views. The beds were comfy, bathroom was modern and there is a small fridge. The decoration is a bit dated but given how clean everything is, it adds to the charm of an authentic Italian hotel.
There were only Italian TV channels if you want to watch TV on holiday which we didn’t.
Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy or lots of choice, very Italian with the huge cake and sweets selection. Bread was fresh and very good. No cooked food except bacon and scrambled eggs. Salad, cheese/ham, yogurts.
It can get noisy at night with the entertainment (not sure if all rooms are the same, ours was sea view and next to the nightly dancing place), but at least the music was oldies, Italian, tangos, etc. so no bass/boom boom type music. I found I could sleep if the window was closed.
My only negative point would be the beach. It’s crowded, and gets dirty with cigarette butts, plastic, etc. People seem to leave rubbish behind everywhere. It was also VERY noisy, constant music from 9:30 to 18. I appreciate some people like this but I want to relax on the beach and listen to the sea, I don’t need constant loud lively music. The sea however was beautiful and warm, which saved the beach experience.
Unfortunately, most of the beach are concessions so there is nowhere else to go.
Most guests were Italian which added to the authentic Italian feel."
"Very centric. Close to all main sites in Palermo. Just don’t forget to see the church that is in the mountains. I didn’t have time to go. So I have to go back."
"Lovely quiet hotel in a beautiful area. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We loved Mondello, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Palermo but stay in a quiet area."
"We booked a suite with wraparound balcony. Suite was lovely, cannot fault it at all. Views over Palermo were amazing and when sleeping the windows blocked out the noise of the bustling city.
Maids came when needed and did a fantastic job. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast selection.
Location was perfect, not far from the historical centre and massimo teatro but far enough away for anyone wanting a slightly quieter base to explore.
Palermo is a great city. It’s gritty in places, but the architecture, streets and piazza’s are also very beautiful. Restaurants and bars we went to were excellent. The people couldn’t be more friendlier, especially when they saw we were making a little effort to speak basic Italian (albeit poorly!). Although most spoke excellent English.
One point I would make, it was extremely hot (early Sept) and when going back we would visit later in year (October). The hotel does have (much-needed) aircon which meant heat was only an issue when outside.
Overall, brilliant city break and the hotel helped make it an unforgettable trip. Grazie mille!!"
