"A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended!
We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive.
It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. During our stay, we loved watching monkeys playing, spotting sloths, and seeing a variety of beautiful tropical birds right from the property.
The food was another major highlight. The...
"What a gorgeous beach! This was a magical place with the friendliest staff, a great restaurant, and beautiful accommodations. I chose the Jungalow room because I wanted to be immersed in nature. The structure was rustic, but it was so cool hearing all the jungle noises while I slept. The shower was also big and open to the jungle, which was really cool. My friend chose a newer air-conditioned room, which was really lovely. We met travelers from all over and we’re having breakfast with them by...
"The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. "Tengo varios años de hospedarme en este hotel y nunca me ha decepcionado, por el contrario cada vez siento que hacen un mayor esfuerzo por satisfacer las necesidades de sus clientes. El trato cordial de Mariangel ayuda a marcar esa diferencia.
La habitación estaba bien mantenida y la cama muy cómoda para dormir y descansar después de un día de trabajo.
El desayuno con solo ofrecer los huevos frescos al gusto hace una gran diferencia."
"This place rocks! At the end of the Main Street , so easy walking everywhere. Great views of the ocean and town. Staff was great and breakfast was terrific. Will definitely stay there again."
