"We had a super stay in this apartment. Very conveniently placed for everything - lots of things walkable including the train station so car not essential.! Very clean and well equipped and Keith and Sharon made every effort to keep in touch and make sure things ran smoothly from beginning to end. Lots of lovely little touches too which made you feel very welcome. A little gem of a place - well recommended and good value for money."

I received a phonecall earlier in the day from Lucy to say that the boiler was not working and they were unable to get anyone to fix it so they would be refunding us half of the cost back which was very nice of them as this was not their fault and these things happen. Checking in was easy, parking was fine, the room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was very nice. "This is a modest, small place. Not really a hotel at all - more a case of Pub with Rooms. We were shocked when we asked, "What time do you serve breakfasts?" A reasonable question? "We don't do breakfast!" was the reply. The (friendly) manager waved her hand vaguely out of the window and told us of a cafe, supposedly a short walk away. We managed to get milk and next morning, made a cuppa and set of to find the breakfast cafe. After a fifteen minute hike we found ourselves well into Penarth...
