Slumber Inn

"We couldn't find a hotel in Halifax or the surrounding area. We saw availability at the Slumber Inn and booked it, even though it was an hour away. It was so clean, newly renovated and super comfortable beds. I'm glad we lucked out in finding this Gem in New Minas. Would recommend this location to everyone. Staff were very friendly and accommodating."

"Lovely stay. Only suggestion we have was for housekeeping to replenish some of the supplies, such as the toilet tissue and coffee packs. We would highly recommend this inn. The cottages are lovely and well.priced"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Miller House By The Bay. Margaret was a friendly and accommodating host. Breakfast was yummy! The location was perfect for walking to shoppes, restaurants, a portrait gallery, and ice cream! We would definitely stay here again."

"The Magnolia Inn is a beautiful property and in a wonderful location—in walking distance to everything. I loved my spacious, comfortable room and the service I received. Craig and Laurie are very attentive, helpful with local recommendations, and kind. I would recommend the inn especially to anyone who appreciates attention to detail, stylish decor, and immaculate cleanliness."

"This was a very quaint and well appointed motel with an incredible view!! It was only a 5 minute drive to Peggy's Cove lighthouse from here. The owners were exceptionally welcoming! I would definitely stay here again."

"It is a beautiful place but unfortunately way too many steps to get to use the outdoor pool And way too much walking and again steps to access the indoor pool for those like myself with mobility issues. I was very disappointed that I was unable to use the pools, they were beautiful. The place itself is beautiful but it could be made more accessible for people with mobility issues. Even to access some of the outside game areas it would be nice if there was a golf cart or some other method of transport to be used to go up snd down to play the games. I would have liked to have been able to use all the facilities without worry. Another thing you might address for your own protection as well as that of the guests is regarding the lovely new showers that are installed. They do have a railing that you can hold on to but the smooth floor is very slippery when wet and there are no bath mats or some kind of texture on the floors to make them safer."

"We loved the location and the veranda where we sat with a drink after dinner watching the harbor and people watching. A whimsical place with super friendly people. The room was also very nice with a very comfortable bed and good pillows which are hard to find. I’d return in a heartbeat,"
