Die Lage und der Ausblick unseres Appartements im Haus Kylemore B war ausgezeichnet. Leider war das Appartement im Verhältnis zu anderen in dieser Anlage etwas nüchtern ausgestattet. Es standen nur wenige Gläser zur Wahl, die Dekoration war tw. weggeräumt, die Windlichter hatten keine Kerzen etc. Auf dem sehr schönen Balkon mit genialem Ausblick gab es leider nur einen Esstisch mit Stühlen, keine Liegen oder Loungemöbel und auch keine Polster für die Stühle. Mit ein wenig Aufwand könnte man die Wohnung auf ein tolles Niveau, das der Lage angemessen wäre, bringen.

Péssima assistência

Nossos problemas com essa propriedade começaram antes mesmo de conseguirmos chegar lá. Fizemos a reserva através do hoteis.com e ficamos cerca de 1 hora rodando com um motorista local (que não nos cobrou 1 centavo a mais por isso) para conseguir encontrar o hotel, isso porque o endereço e o telefone fornecidos na reserva estavam completamente errados! Eles mesmos admitiram o erro, que ainda persiste. Check-in feito dentro do carro (não há recepção) e muito demorado. Propriedade enorme e sem nenhum tipo de serviço para carregar bagagens, prepare-se para pegar muito peso. Cama de casal minúscula, em que mal cabia um adulto, e cobertor deplorável e muito pequeno, mal cabe uma criança debaixo dele. Banheiro sem nenhuma privacidade, sem trava na porta, e porta de vidro quase transparente. No nosso primeiro dia lá (01/10/19), à noite, liguei 3 vezes para a portaria central, solicitando um cobertor extra, e a resposta debochada que obtive da inútil que estava lá era de que eu deveria aguardar para que alguém fosse levar, e que ela "não fazia a menor ideia de quanto tempo isso iria levar". Com essas palavras mesmo. Em resumo: passamos 6 noites lá, sem nenhuma assistência, numa cama e cobertor minúsculos, esperando por ajuda até hoje. Na realidade existem outras propriedades melhores na Cidade do Cabo, já que esse residencial NÃO é um hotel, e sim um conjunto habitacional em que alguns apartamentos foram feitos de hotel. As únicas coisas boas são a localização e segurança perfeitas.

There had been negative comments about the check in procedure but we followed the instructions that came with the confirmation email and it was seamless. The bathroom kitchen and bedding etc were spotless and the floors had been swept but we ended up wearing flip flops as our feet were really filthy if we went barefoot

Ideal Location for tourists

The location of the unit is ideal as you can walk to and from the Cape Town Waterfront. You can choose to eat at the Waterfront or buy supplies and cook in the unit. There is excellent security in and around the building. The pillows in the bedrooms were to soft for our liking, would prefer firmer pillows and some blankets in the unit. Overall the furniture and beds were comfortable.Wifi worked excellently.

The property was easy to find and secure. Check in process was professional and efficient. Easy/short walk to V&A Waterfront and short taxi ride to bars, restaurants etc. Cleaned on a daily basis. Would certainly return again

Great view, easy access to Waterfront area

Large property with all the amenities you would want in a holiday rental. Its position is ideal to get to the waterfront and is an acceptable walk from the main town district too. Would recommend. Kept clean every day. Towel radiators in bathrooms far too hot, hence my reduced overall rating. My partner got a really nasty burn due to accidental contact. This could be very dangerous for a child.

Two parking bays in front of the apartment was helpful so definitely great for elderly ,children & if you need to carry many items Good security & helpfull guards .

Best location in Cape Town

This is a beautiful property, very secure in one of the best areas to stay in Cape Town. It's our 2nd stay here and we will stay again next time we travel to Cape Town. Depending where you make your booking the local agent will vary. Our Orbitz booking was handled by "Home from Home Hospilitly services". Our apartment had a broken refrigerator on arrival so we had to deal with this issue, which was never repaired during our 7 night stay. This is not a cheap property! I expected more from the handling agent. It was a disappointment! TRAVELER BEWARE....on checkin the agent took a copy of my credit card, as a guarantee in the event of damage. After leaving the apartment and South Africa, we are contacted by our credit card company, someone is using our card to purchase woman's clothes from a online store in Cape Town as well as a charges at a hotel in Jo-berg. It is so obvious my card information was compromised by this company.

Difficult to find

This is an apartment that is being rented out by an agency- beautiful place and great location. The problem is to get in touch with the right person that will check you in - we were directed to three different telephone numbers before somebody even knew which residence we were talking about and actually had our reservation. Somebody then has to come to the place to check you in as all the buildings are private residency. Once you get over this ‘hurdle’ it’s a great stay;)

very clean and access to the Waterfront is a walking distance. It is very private and quiet, which is great for relaxing
